Right now, the most urgent issue before Congress is securing our elections.

That’s why I’m focused on passing the SAVE America Act, legislation that requires proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections and voter ID at the ballot box.

After four years of open borders under the Biden administration, millions of illegal aliens entered our country. If Congress fails to act, many of them could end up participating in our election system – something we’ve already seen in past elections.

The American people understand the stakes. So does President Trump. Ensuring that only American citizens vote in American elections is one of the most basic responsibilities of a functioning Republic.

That’s why I’ve taken a firm position: until the Senate passes the SAVE America Act, I will vote no on all Senate legislation sent to the House — except funding for the Department of Homeland Security.

Right now, the American people don’t want show votes in the Senate or political games. They want this bill signed into law.

And I’m not alone in this position. Many of my House Republicans colleagues are prepared to take the same stance — refusing to advance Senate legislation until the Senate acts to secure America’s elections.

Many of us recognize that this is one of the defining political issues of the moment.

If Republicans fail to deliver something as common-sense as proof of citizenship and voter ID, it will be very difficult to look voters in the eye this November and explain why.

The American people gave Republicans the House, the Senate, and the White House to fix the problems created over the past four years.

Now is the time to act.

The Senate should pass the SAVE America Act and send it to the President’s desk.
My congressman, carpetbagger that he is.

My congressman

Still young and relatively unproven. But if he remains on course and doesn't become swamp, I really feel like he could be President one day.

All the no voting stuff is theater.

Hope I am wrong but this is how I interpret words coming out of anyone in congress.

I am 100% all in for the SAVE act because it secures my place in the MOB otherwise known as US congress. I can take this position because I know it doesn't have the votes. So my handlers are allowing me to a stand in support of the SAVE act.

I really like Gill a lot. He doesnt get all fired up, obnoxious or loud. When questioning in a hearing, he is level headed to the point and the way he questions someone and the order in which he structures his questions just makes people look stupid. Its a mic drop on its on.

The SAVE act is the most important legislation to be considered by congress in decades. Without voter integrity there are not any legitimate election results.

If they are elected by illegal votes how can they hold office? How can their bills even become law?

Is this their way of promoting unrest in order to take more liberty from us?

Maybe this is the real reason we must always remain locked and loaded.
