I love this state. I really do. But the political environment created by the progressives in the Bay and SoCal have rapidly destroyed the state as a whole. The California I grew up in is a thing of the past and that hurts to say. We have everything you could ask for and they've screwed it up dramatically in the last 20 - 25 years. Increasing unemployment due to Sacramento's policies, Wildfires due to mismanagement of the forests, hit and miss water shortages because they won't build more reservoirs not because of "climate change", energy shortages because nuclear is scary to the Left, high crime in the largest metros because the voters passed Prop 47 Prop 47 CA.Gov, illegals run amok in places that refuse to work with ICE... It's all self inflicted and it is entirely driven by the Left. The fact that the dems keep putting Cali politicians on a pedestal is frightening. They see the above problems as successes that should go national. For God's sake that is the last damn thing that should happen. Kamala scared the hell out of me. Newsom scares the hell out of me and he will be on the shortlist for their nomination. I thank God that I was raised in the Central Valley and that it's normal where I'm at. We probably would've packed up and left had we been in the Bay (I was born in the South Bay and my wife in the North Bay) or parts of SoCal. But how long can we holdout as Sacramento gets more and more radicalized? I don't want to leave home but at some point enough is enough.
