1) I wonder if any of those woke-joke people in New York City have buyer's remorse yet?
2) I've thought for awhile that Mamdani will eventually screw up so bad that he won't even finish out his term. I think Walz and Newsom are in even more trouble, but imo Mamdani won't have anything approaching a long-term political career.

The lack of coherent local news reporters has created local newspapers that are 98% AP national and international headlines.
Which makes social media mirror that too as you only get so much educational content about the local politician, local tax structure impact, code enforcement etc…
and then suddenly you have mayors and council people talking about freeing Palestine instead of filling potholes.
The mayor of nyc has a little more international staging obviously but inserting into Iran talks for anything besides voicing concern for (1) gas prices (2) having constituents who have families suffering… is really something when you step back….
