OK so what does this do, exactly?

your dismissing it like that in itself isn’t an incredible achievement. Iran isn’t Venezuela or frickin Haiti.

You're pretending like it's over and they won't simply be replaced or new groups won't form.

Yes but I’d counter that some of the deaths were provoked by other hostile parties and also just like the gun grabbers conveniently overlook when it comes to preventing incidents, how many deaths have we prevented by flexing our might in the big picture?

FFS when you can’t give credit for obvious accomplishments, there’s nothing more to discuss. I never said it was over. But we got a big win and your anti-American arse can’t say the military accomplished a great feat.

This is always the problem with the "muh CIA" stuff.

We're judging the actions with hindsight bias and much less asymmetrical information in real time. Now this doesn't excuse the CIA/US for what it's done, but we were often reacting (and a lot of this was in the Cold War when the USSR was extending influence across the world itself in somewhat strategically important areas) to other stimuli.

The problem is trying to dot connect all of these into some larger unified plot, which is typical for conspiracy logic. While this rhetoric flaw exists in basically all CTs, it's much worse with "muh CIA" because the very reason why so much fallout occurred is the incompetency by the CIA that precludes a larger plot/design. The chaos (and after-effects of that chaos) caused by the CIA is due to incompetency. An agency with this history of frickups could never pull off these global schemes of 10,000 moving parts over decades.

So take Iran. We installed the shah specifically to combat USSR influence in the region. Full stop. It wasn't "globalism" or the Rothschilds, or the "British Monarchy/banking system", etc. It was a short-term solution to a short-term threat, which caused long-term issues by the response (a few decades later). Then we respond again, frick up, make it worse, and have to respond to all the new externalities created by the last intervention.

I can. We had a successful start. You're just trying to make that start seem a lot more significant than it is, and you're proving that by being unable to respond logically to my comments.

Same shite I heard after the successful invasion in Iraq.

Libertarians are fricking morons. They get some things right, then go off the rails on way too many other issues. And they’re incredibly arrogant about it at the same time.

There are re-education camps down here in South Louisiana that might work well with outlook adjustment for this clown. Any F__K that feels the way he feels about our government-Country should be living somewhere outside our boarders.

I’m not gonna take the obvious bait. I made a statement and you twice dismissed it while changing the argument to what you wanted it to be. I’m glad you think it was an accomplishment. It took us 9 months to find Saddam and 10 years to kill bin Laden. We took out their top 50 guys in a day. Incredible accomplishment that you seem like you really REALLY want to downplay.

No.

Having you defend your point is not "changing the argument." You just had difficulty defending it.

Again, are you denying there won't be replacements or new groups filling the void?
