Combat Veteran Husband of Cal Cunningham’s Mistress Calls for North Carolina Senate Hopeful to Drop Out
The wounded warrior husband of Cal Cunningham’s mistress has called for the North Carolina Senate hopeful to drop out of the race, after the revelation that his wife had an affair with the candidate, according to a report.
Army veteran Jeremy Todd, who served in the Army for 19 years and injured his spine during a paratrooper training jump at Fort Bragg, called for Cunningham to exit the race after his public relations executive wife, Arlene Guzman Todd, admitted to having an affair with Cunningham, who is also an Army reserve lieutenant colonel.
NationalFile.com first reported the affair last week, and both Guzman Todd and Cunningham have admitted to having an affair and apologized for hurting their families.
Todd said that Cunningham “chose to repeatedly engage in activities that would hurt his family and a fellow junior officer and veteran.”
“If elected, I can only imagine how misplaced his judgment would be for the people he’s charged to represent,” Todd said in a statement to News & Observer on Wednesday, according to Fox News.
“I firmly believe Mr. Cunningham should drop out of the Senate race and ask that his behavior and actions be reviewed under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.”

Not going to happen. Cal has already said he plans to stay in the race. The loonies in VA will more than likely vote him in anyway.

It would be the honorable thing to do.
Which means he ain't gonna want to do that.

NC and Thom Tillis is going to win easily. NC may be purple, but it is still very much a state driven by religious morality.

I’m hoping this somehow helps both Trump and Forest as well.

Cunningham should withdraw his participation. And then the veteran husband should divorce his whore wife.
A happy ending for everyone.
A happy ending for everyone.

I know it doesn’t really mean anything, but I have seen way more Trump signs than I did in 2016. Even around Asheville. I’m not all that concerned about NC.
Forest has been like a ghost in the western part of the state. He visited our county once about seven or eight months ago and it was for an invite only event at our county GOP office. Supposedly he will be returning before the election, but people are not happy with him here. They will vote for him because Cooper has been such a horrible governor, but it’s not a good look for the GOP moving forward in NC.

Depends, is the flag on fire or majestically waving?

Not happening. He will stay in and will win. If he was running against anyone but the goober Tillis, he would probably lose. Tillis’ ads are nonexistent.

I saw the Run Forest Run signs along the road constantly in western NC. Kind of stupid actually.
