Clinton was also more willing to work across the aisle, especially when Republicans gained control of Congress. Obama can't lead or compromise, it's his way or no way and Republicans can't go along with that. They have passed numerous bills in the House that were compromises and the Senate won't put them to a vote. Democrats have been way more unwilling to compromise than Republicans have.
Serious question - WTF should Obama even TRY anymore? The dumbass Republican House has voted to repeal Obamacare something like FORTY FRICKING TIMES - despite the fact that George W. Retard's signature Supreme Court appointee (ya know... Chief Justice Roberts? The same dude ya'll spent the previous 3 damn years fawning over) UPHELD IT.

Because the Reid/Pelosi years under both Bush and Obama were soooooooo inclusive of ideas from the GOP, right?

The GOP may be slightly more populist on some of those issues, and some of those issues have become more crisic, but I see little difference in the positions of Republicans from sixteen years ago.

High point for me was Powell talking about how Obamacare is essentially the same as Dole's plan in 1996 and Romney's plan in MA.

The culture of not working with Obama on anything (when Gingrich worked with Clinton a TON to achieve great things) is undeniable.

Question... why hasn't Reid allowed a vote in the Senate? Seems to me... he's blocking the process...

He talked a bit about how far right the Republicans have gone over the past 16 years, etc
Several Trillion in deficit spending and debt accumulation BY BOTH PARTIES, yet the GOP has supposedly veered extreme right. That about sum it up?

Did he talk about all he Lies of Obamacare? Keep your Doc, average family saving $2500, keep your plan. Sometimes it isn't the Policy but when you outright lie about everything, people know what you are...

Immigration, debt, government benefits, national healthcare, war, taxes... pretty much fricking everything
The DNC wants their talking points back.
Immigration is a zero concern dagnabit.
Illegal IS a nationwide issue.
Debt seems to be issue neither party can/is addressing very well.
ACA. Repubs and others are right to be against this loadstone.
War? Really? No war issues under BHO and the H Reid led senate?
If less taxes and thus more money for people to keep that they worked for is further right then it was to far left to begin with.
"Pretty much f@cking everything else" is just lazy on your part.
