Brendan O’Neil and Joe had a similar conversation a few episodes later. Joe never called it genocide though. To his credit he also didn’t claim to know a different way. Basically just hinted at they may be overstepping in how many women and kids are dying to root out the bad actors.
Also thinks it’ll just create a new generation of fanatics which I think is very likely. Honestly don’t see how it wouldn’t.

Isreal did not start this conflict. Their nation was attacked. They are responding to an attempt at genocide on the part of Hamas which was elected by the people of Gaza. Not sure why Rogan doesn't understand that.

Israelis have control over Gaza airspace. If they wanted 'genocide' they would carpet bomb them. Rather, they are risking the lives of IDF soldiers trying to be as precise as possible under the circumstances. They know the eyes of the world are on them.
