Psst! Weisselberg testified.

And? We have it from Trumps mouth. I mean. How gullible are you? What happened 9/20/18? You are a punch line.

I don't know about successful prosecutions, but they've got a successful plea and in AMI's non-prosecution agreement. AMI acknowledges meeting with Pecker and "another member of the campaign" (later id'd as Trump in reporting) and places the plan to catch and kill stories in the context of Trump's candidacy. So you've got AMI, Cohen, probably Weisselberg and the fact that the payments were made within a couple weeks of an election. Seems like a violation to me, though I'm naught but a dilettante.

The testimony of a CFO testifying with immunity vs a memo on the check marked “legal fees”.

Let's see what comes of it.

And an exculpatory audio recording. What’s your prediction?

That's funny. Your mom would probably have gotten along well with my grandfather who was chairman of his state GOP during the Nixon presidency and never would speak to me about Watergate til the day he died 30+ years later.

Nixon had a lot going for him. Those were great days for the California Republicans who seemed to really be a great incubator of Republican talent. Weird to see the state caucus down to 7 reps.

I take you don't agree with the proposition that the American Republican party is doing now what California Republicans did in the Pete Wilson days with prop 187 and such, and demographically boxing themselves out of the future?

A plea agreement provides no precedent. SDNY could have had kiddie porn on those frickers but, because this is a politically motivated hackjob, got them to make a deal whereby they would cop to a non-crime.

Do we believe Cohen or not? How do we know when he is being truthful? If Cohen says trump directed him to violate the law...but we have trump on tape stating the opposite, which will you believe? And how do you come to that conclusion?

Yeah, it'll take more than Cohen's word. Not sure what kind of documentary evidence there is. Of course, there are also more unnamed executives named in the statement of the offense (probably DJTJ). Too early to predict but not out of the realm of possibility they'll implicate Trump spawn.

Not sure what more we could learn about CF violations- seems to me that the facts on that have been conceded and all the el'mints of the crime are conceded. I just want those spineless figs to pull the trigger on trying to impeach a sitting president for violations of a vague (predominately) regulatory law that has more loopholes than a Texas panty tornado.

Is it too early to bump these to say I told you so?
