As Bongino likes to say, "show me paragraph one." We still have no official explanation for the premise of this investigation. What was the information or evidence that sparked it? The Papa and Downer meeting has been debunked (we know it was going on before that).

What this is right now is the Left’s Uranium One. A bunch of theory’s of shady business deals with shady foreign interests and Russia. Difference is one got an investigation and the other one didn’t.

Trump has lawyers. There's no chance his lawyers allowed him to answer any question with a "YES" or "NO." There's just no way. There was no obligation that trump and team go do homework and provide dates, etc. There is nothing wrong with Trump's answer being "There likely are documents that would provide this information. At the time of this response, without having the benefit of reviewing relevant documents, I do not recall."

The only way Cohen could hurt Trump are if their respective statements to the SC conflict on this issue. And it would be extreme incompetence by Trump’s law team if they left that kind of hole in Trump’s written statement to Mueller.
