Dont know how many times you need to be told, the drugs were going to Trinidad.
Coke is usually flown in to the USA directly from producing countries or shipped through Mexico.

but you are the only insisting this is just more "war on drugs" garbage. As if any actions against the cartels can be lazily lumped into some old ideological bucket from the 80's with negative connotations. These people are being treated as terrorists.
This is nothing like the war on drugs. Which is why I suspect the left is melting.

No he didn't . No one in the government from State to DEA would agree with that statement.
Why ship legal substance to Mexico only to have Mexicans synthesize it for the North American market. Then ship it to Venezuela to then traverse a high risk route via sea or air to places like NYC and Miami? When you can get willing Gringos to transport it in their car for you across the busiest border in the world

sighs.
I'm too old for this shite. We simply aren't having a conversation, and honestly I gave you too much credit and I regret engaging.

its exactly the same as the retarded bullshite and virtue signaling we've done for 60 years.
It does not work, because its not supply driving the market, its the demand that comes from the USA.

The need/desire for drugs within our own border.

Sounds like you're admitting they're not and just don't like it, trying to attack the designation itself

Well yeah the war on drugs has been terrible and ineffective. It deserves all the negative connotation it can receive
Same with the War on Terorr.

Because it's a Frankenstein monster combining the WOD and WOT. It's worse than either individually. That's the point.

What do you think combining them will do and stretching the limits of both to their literal extremes?

You don’t care about rights though.
You’re for anything illegal to get Donald Trump or any of his supporters.

To deal with fentanyl specifically we need to unwind the over-regulation of opiates that started during Trump 1. We know for certainty now that normal opiates are much safer with fewer negative externalities than fentanyl.
Then once we get back to 2019 era drug problems, we can start working our way back.
There is no putting the genie back in the bottle. Fent is a problem because prescription opioids were entirely too available and got a generation of drug user addicted to oxy. Oxy got too expensive so they went to heroin and fent
Fent will run it's course. Unlike cocaine, there is nothing sexy about opioid use. People will get addicted lose everything and die. Everyone around opioid users learns to hate the user, they steal, lie and generally suck to be around. It sounds cruel but it is about all you can do about it on a macro level.

There is nothing you can do with fighting the supply chain that will shut down the profit incentive on the supply side of cocaine.
Kilo cost $1800 in Columbia and $38000 in the USA. Making it harder to get in the USA just makes it more lucrative to get it in.

Oxy got too expensive
That was a supply issue due to over-regulation to combat oxy. That's when fentanyl exploded and why government created this crisis. We can squash fentanyl likely but something will take its place and I doubt that it's going to be better than fentanyl. That's That's the issue and why we need to get back to where oxys were more prevalent and cheaper and then work back from that when we eliminate fentanyl via market pressure.
That would at least get fentanyl out of everything that is not opiate related and save a lot of lives. Well probably keeping the opiate addiction levels similar to what they are now. The negative externalities of fentanyl are the real issue more than the direct examination of the opiate related addicts.

Yessir, the more lucrative it is, the more people will take a risk to earn that money.

SFP, you are somehow the voice of reason in this thread

You presuppose these boats were headed for the US.
They weren't terribly far off the coast of Venezuela when we zapped them.
