You do realize they cleared several blocks away from the building right? To protect everyone including PDJT.
Of course there are not thousands of people outside the building. They are being screened and then getting in line. There are not going to be mobs outside the building if that is what you are thinking.

People, have we forgotten past rallys?
There is a capacity limit for the building. They are using the floor so some seats will not be used I'd assume. Saw this all the time when I went to concerts years ago. The nosebleeds were never full for sold out concerts.

I can tell you that CNN is refraining from panning to where one would assume there would be the most empty seats. I figured they'd be proudly displaying such. But they ain't.

I wonder if dems actually did something smart and registered to attend. That way Trump supporters that would've attended don't register to go thinking they had no chance of getting in.

I’ve watched every one of his rallies since he ran. 5k-15k people outside of arenas.
As another poster alluded they are tearing down the outside stage that is a horrible fricking look.

Most of the upper deck is empty and the floor area is half empty as well.
