THAT is what has my blood boiling more than anything right now. They can "leak" this and start to form their narrative of guilt in the public sphere, but he can't defend himself at all without breaking the gag order and catching a contempt charge. And we all know they'd instantly charge him the second he gave them any reason.

This tape damn sure shouldn't be allowed to be presented as evidence anymore.
The prosecutors leaked it, twice now. First the contents and then the audio itself. They're floating it out there now to have their case argued for them without objection for the talking head analysis to be hammered into the head of the jury pool.

Who made the recording? Florida is a two-party state so unless Trump knew it was being recorded by one of his guests it's an illegal recording. Of an ex-President. That should be a big deal too. If it's a Fed surveillance recording that's a whole other thing with dozens of other questions.

All parties have to consent, but consent can be something as simple as a head nod. Good luck proving consent wasn’t given.

Trump knew he was being recorded. He was meeting with an author who was writing a book on Mark Meadows and the author made the recording. There were also 2 members of Trumps staff present. Others may have also been present. It was all in the indictment.
