It is typical of the liberal, rather than simply answering the question to provide some long winded response that beats around the bush and refuses to admit that the answer the question is no

Specifically there is nothing in anyway identified or mentioned regarding the AEA as a justification for these actions

Further as I'm sure you now realize there is nothing in the constitution that prohibits these actions

Finally there is no codified law on the books currently that prohibit these actions

Congress could certainly vote tomorrow to stop these actions but that has not yet been done

Whether there is a UN violation of some sort may be up for debate but I think most Americans could give two craps about the UN

I guess we can just call anyone a terrorist, and make it stick these days.

I guess the US military is "terrorist" as we handed out amphetamines like candy in WWII

I don’t agree with the terrorist designation. I assume it’s just a legal classification so we can use the current Authorization of Use of Military Force to conduct the campaign.

I’d be perfectly fine with calling the drug traffickers and killing them.

Well, first of all, its because they are in small burning pieces, floating in the ocean.......you know, because we bombed their pussies into extinction

Its very had to cuff them at that point, much less read them their rights

During the war, one in three Allied soldiers were incapacitated without a physical scratch on them. Modern weapons and warfare proved so terrifying that almost as many men were shredded by combat fatigue and shell shock — now known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) — as by bullets and shrapnel. Allied commanders believed Benzedrine, an amphetamine similar to Pervitin, was the answer, hoping the amphetamine would defeat not just the need for sleep, but anxiety and fear among troops. How this drug affected the course of World War II is an ongoing controversy.

Your own military was trafficking drugs.

Would you like me to go back in time and tell the generals from 85 years ago that drugs are bad?

They already knew, and did it anyway.

I bet you still call many of them "Heros." So do I, because I understand how the world works, and you apparently are living in some Pollyanna land where you think there is a difference between drug dealers.

Not at all. There is no difference. Traffickers are traffickers.

Leary's argument was basically "It is effective." Yes, it is certainly that. It is also illegal and unconstitutional.

You people seem to be OK with that.

There’s nothing unconstitutional or illegal about attacking the boats. If you want to say it’s morally wrong or just bad policy then that’s valid. I’d disagree with you but it’s a valid opinion at least.
