Simple way to address this. Change the name.
Hear me out.
Make this big media hoopla. Have a big announcement. Then unveil the name change to: Tigers. Just say you changed it from the confederate moniker to this mascot that just represents the Tiger.

I’m torn. I’m sick of the cancel culture going on.
But also I remember how many LSU fans over the years have used racial issues at ole miss from a half-century ago as shite-talking fodder for sports. To those people....I say GFY and I hope they take Tigers away from you.
