what's funny is, throughout history there have been ebbs and flows in climate.....colder periods and warmer periods. Long after all of us on this board are gone, it will continue. That's all it is. However, all these special interest groups do is try and scare people into spending on their pet projects so that they can get rich. Probably mostly dems doing it, as that seems to be their MO, fear mongering.

Almost nobody, maybe nobody, posting their opinion in this thread knows if and how climate change is or is not impacted by human behavior.

All the dude said was its getting hotter. The planet has been getting wamer for over 10000 years. ..since the last ice age. We have been recording global temperature data fairly reliably since 1880. The issue with the Karl study wasnt that the earth wasnt warming..it was the speed of the warming.

This is the dumbest shite I constantly see. Who exactly is getting rich on pet projects?
Right now, publicly traded oil companies are making record profits. This data is available for all to clearly see.
What is best for a free market economy is options. If we want cheaper fuel, alternatives to oil is the way to go. I'm completely ok with this playing out with free market policies, but to say its a get rich scheme is foolish.
