The President would say, then go back, meet with your folks, bring me a proposal

All he is doing is stalling to appear he wants to negotiate, just B.S.

It’s bull crap . He is not going to give up the wall that easy . I am sure he offered a small amount for the wall so he can claim that he offered the wall.

The bipartisan proposal Schumer supported gave Trump what he asked for in 2018 for his wall.

It appears that Trump is taking Chuck for a ride at the negotiating table. Chuck when you say you are willing to do X, Trump knows your current position. He keeps coming back to X to see if you are hard and fast at that position or if you are still willing to cave. You keep caving, so he keeps negotiating.

Republicans just took DACA off of the table.

Lol, good job dems

Might I remind the board that according to Nancy, a fricking 3 week CR was a good "compromise" in exchange for amnesty for a million illegals. Let that sink in.

It's pretty clear it was never really on the table for them.

Dems put it there and the GOP considered it.

What the Dems proposed was bullshite. A 1986 bait and switch all over again.

Not for a three week CR with no other compromises on immigration it's not.

Stop pretending like this is on republicans. They were willing to pass daca as part of a more comprehensive immigration fix. They were willing to pass a clean CR if a deal couldn't be reached. They even moved to pass the clean CR on a simple majority and Chuck blocked it.

Dems chose illegals over citizens, and thought the media would carry the narrative for them. Now the dems are looking for cameras to spin for with their blame Trump posters because even CNN viewers aren't buying their bullshite.

It is what it is.

Chuck did say something very interesting. He said that it's hard to negotiate with Trump because no one knows what his position is or his position seems to keep changing. Isn't this what a skilled negotiator does? You never let the other side know your true position and how much you are willing to give up.

And Dems called for unanimous consent 3 times to keep the government open, and McConnell objected all 3 times.

I'm pretending its on both sides.
