There are two options for the Chinese. First, get a deal done that the US will be happy with. Or, step up election interference operations and attempt to get Trump out of office in favor of a spineless globalist Democrat. I fear they may opt for the latter.

So when is the last time you looked at your pecker and demanded it to ejaculate? Anyone, except dems, know you have to stroke it for a while to come, pun intended, to a conclusion.

Dude, Trump has demonstrated that he basically just wants to see a drop in the trade deficit. Which is inconsequential by itself. It's actually increasing right now anyway. What gives you faith that we are actually going to address the more significant problems?

Fine, I'll play. Tell me in concrete detail what you would consider a good deal. Be specific. In other words, a drop in X tariff of Y percent. Agreement to cut emissions by Z percent. Stuff like that.

Less imports from China and more production at home which creates more jobs here thus having more people paying into our tax base which theoretically helps with the debt and/or other government supported programs.

Are you aware that our trade deficit with China is currently increasing?

If that is your stated goal, what would you do to reverse it? That is what I mean by details of a good deal.

The Chinese are setting a trap the higher the tariffs the more Americans pay . You cannot starve out the Chinese or hurt their economy nine dollars buys them eight meals, nine dollars in the US buys you a Burger King happy meal.

What an ignorant comparison.

Well good thing their products are cheap to start with. Since they have been allowed to cheat the system for so long.

I just told you, make more of the stuff we get from them right here at home - like we use to.

Kaboom. Art of the deal my friends.
What exactly is the “art” here? They were already planning on meeting, and now they’re bringing a smaller crew instead. So is keeping a meeting but with fewer (presumably important) workers somehow better?

You can't just magically make that happen. Like I said, the deficit has worsened thus far. What can we do to improve it?
