He sold some of his railroads for a pipeline company. That is how he profited off the Keystone Pipeline cancellation since he had some rail lines that would benefit by expanded rail for oil cargo from the oil sands of Canada.
This regulation doesn’t affect moving oil by train, only natural gas.

You mean when it boils off and turns back into a gas? Then it becomes flammable, obviously. The article said LNG is flammable, which is a false statement
I mean if there’s a leak, like the Freeport leak. Jfc, that’s what everyone including the article is talking about.

This means they have pipes ready to go as an alternative means of transport, right?
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but LNG isn’t transported by pipeline, except in short distances adjacent to the LNG facility.

They want to ban transport of "dirty" oil by train next.
Someone here knows the correct term for "dirty" oil I'm sure. It's pretty damn flammable. It's what the train that blew up half a town in Canada was hauling.

A bad idea isn’t good bc the other side points out that it’s bad.
No one said thst it was. What’s odd is the burden of proof is on the people to prove the regulation isn’t harmful, not on government to show its a good idea.
quote:This isnt a thread about the merits of transportation methods.
Aside from the danger it’s just inefficient.

The modern day environmental movement is a front for Marxist and the destruction of our national security. If you ask yourself how do our enemies benefit from this decision when you read about these types of rules are proposed, then you will understand what’s going on.
China and Russia are successfully destroying our fuel operations without firing a shot. All by manipulation of our liberals here at home.
