I've tried telling this board there is possible common ground with an anti-establishment lib like Omar (Gaetz has said as much at times), but no one listens. She's an anti-American terrorist! Deport her!

It's the same pattern: Create scary enemy. Use emotional reactions to that perceived enemy to give perceived in-group leaders more power. Whichever side wins will not give up that power and will rule as authoritarians. Guess what: if the right-authoritarians win, they won't spare you, either.

In 100 years China will look more like China has looked over the last 3000 years than anywhere in the West. Your ideology is cultural suicide. You relish how pitifully easy it is to distort and bastardize Western governments through bribery and lawfare until it eventually and historically always leads to chaos and death.

They’ve long been doing that. They weren’t tolerated and were thrown in fricking camps when I was over there. Christianity was tolerated, but Islam wasn’t.

To be fair both Nixon/Kissinger and Mao kind of both won in the end on what their overall goals were. Nixon’s goal was to Westernize the Chinese population, and save for still having that authoritarian streak, over the long haul Nixon succeeded in this, and Xi Jinping doesn’t like this one bit. Like China actually loved Game of Thrones for instance and their kids grow up with Disney (although not sure if they show modern Disney anymore). They know what the outside world is like and actually like and get along with Westerners more than their own neighbors.
But Mao also had a goal, and it was to infiltrate the United States and replace our freedom loving ideals with communism and authoritarianism. Yeah, he succeeded their too and is probably quite happy between his flayings in hell looking up to what he did to our country.
