And then shipping it all back to China. This is going to drive up the prices we pay for food and meat.

No Chinaman or Chinese company should be allowed to own land in the US.

It's not allowed in any other country yet they own around 1 million acres here in the US.

Can only imagine how much money the democrats get in return for allowing this.

America is asshoe for allowing it.

The wrong people are buying up our farmland. Bill Gates, China, Monsanto (I think), etc. There's NO WAY these bastards don't have nefarious motives for their actions.
One more reason why we have to keep our guns. Without them, we would be helpless to stop China from shipping American-raised meat and food to China and other places.
EDIT - I started a thread regarding Bill Gates buying up American farmland 3-4 weeks ago, but a lot of people accused me of having an obsession with him. I mean, the SOB just came out the other day and said that people in wealthy countries should be eating "synthetic meat."
Sorry, but when I hear Bill Gates talking about forcing us to eat "synthetic meat" it doesn't exactly give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Chinese were buying groups of houses in Vancouver, then jacked up prices big time.
It was a big news story and lessons were never learned.
Our farmlands will be held hostage, no doubt.

Pay them fair market value and end their ownership or just fricking tell them it’s no longer theirs, I don’t care. This ought not to be.

They don't know. There are numerous US based companies that are owned by Chinese businesses such as Smithfield and IBM.

This is an example of why so many other countries only allow their own citizens to buy land-property. It only makes sense, really. America should do the same. And no, I am not a raaayyycissst Just a cynical realist.

Simple. America is for sale, and Joe Xiden is the real estate agent in charge.

Drop Eminent Domain on them and give them a shitty valuation on the land. frick them.
A foreign nation or business directly connected has no business buying land here.

Did any of you actually read the article (from June 2020)? Its talking about purchasing from US farmers their crops (soybean/corn) not buying the actual land.
China as a trade partner is importnat for US Farmers and why we've seen such an explosion in Soybean acres.
BTW Monsanto doesnt exist anymore, they've been acquired by Bayer.
And before I get slammed I am a Trump supporter and proud right winger, but lets be factual.

After the housing bubble burst back in 2008, they were buying up lots (200 houses in a lot) and paid very little for them.
