Chief Justice Roberts Wearing Patek Philippe Watch.

Patek Philippe Reference 5205G Annual Calendar. Chief Justice Roberts is wearing a Patek Philippe, Reference 5205G, annual calendar, with moon phase and 24-hour displays. Distinctive features of the watch are the three jumping indicators for the day, date, and month, located in windows across the top of the dial. The 24-hour indicator and moon phase are placed in a subdial at at the bottom of the dial. The hour markers give the watch the look of a sector dial and match the dauphine hands.

Agreed... I'm a watch nut and spotted it right away though I didn't know exactly which model it was until I researched it a bit.

For us living in the South, that is a lot of money. Being Chief Justice and living in DC area, $267K is probably similar to $60K here. Think about it.. he probably lives in a house that costs over 1 million. That's a hefty payment and all of the other expenses that a high-profile position would be "expected" to have. I do like the watch though.

Reminds me of something I read in a book about Patton. Many officers dreaded being posted to Fort Meade due to the expenses entailed in attending all the balls and other social events. Including hosting some of those events. Difficult on Army pay.
Wasn't an issue for Patton as he was wealthy due to his marriage.
