Yes and it is because we stay inside and have been indoctrinated to think that the sun is bad for us so we put on sunscreen (which prevents UV light from activating your body's natural vitamin D). The is bad for you if you are exposed to direct sunlight (~10AM-5PM in the summer in the southern USA) for more than 30 minutes per day in which case you should wear sunscreen. Too much sun is also bad for us, but too little sun is also bad for us. Getting out in the morning or late afternoon and/or around 30 minutes of sun is good for the body and the brain. It fights osteoporosis, boosts the immune system, and helps balance the neurotransmitters in the brain which helps prevent or treat depression and anxiety.

Every morning, I drink a 20oz protein shake using milk, 2 boiled eggs and a yogurt along with fish oil pills. I think I'm good.

That is why I used the term biological sex instead of gender. If you ever interact with transgender individuals they are more than aware of the difference or what PC culture is trying to tell us the difference between gender and biological sex is.

Short sleeve shirt and shorts expose enough skin to activate vitamin D. Especially in the southern USA in the summer. In the winter time a vitamin D supplement is needed unless you live in the tropics.

. Some people have a 0 count most are under 15 and the minimum should be a 30 count. Its a big problem in the USA.

Absolutely take Vitamin D,but make sure its D3. Fauci admitted to taking 10x's the daily Vitamin D3 limit when pressured but never once mentioned it on camera voluntarily. And he's a bureaucrat that never saw a camera that he didnt like.
Why didnt he ever mention it at first?

I take 3 's the daily limit and have like 5 bottles left from my huge original purchase.

I also take Chelated Zinc, Quercetin and Garlic supplements each day with the Vitamin D3. If I could find, Ivermectin or Hydroxy Chloraquine, I could stop taking all this each day. But I digress. I will look into the K2 as well.

30-45 minutes has shown to be enough for African American women to boost their vitamin D levels high enough to fight osteoporosis so I would assume it is enough to boost them to improve the immune system as well.

It is not as simple as you think. It is complicated as f**k and the exact mechanism hasn't been proven yet. I think the theory about African Americans having more efficient kidneys at the cellular level than other ethnic groups thanks to natural selection is the one that is most correct. Their kidneys are more efficient at reabsorbing salt and water (or else they would have died on the slave ships because the conditions were not the best on those vessels). Salt and water are "the bad guys" when it comes to respiratory failure and heart failure and uncontrolled high BP which are what eventually kills people in a lot of covid cases.

Vitamin K is a blood thickener which is why I avoid it.

My doctor is always surprised by my high vitamin D levels - largely due to playing tennis outdoors 5 days a week. He said that nearly all of his patients are chronically low in vitamin D.

I am in the sun a lot. No idea why I had been low but vitamins seems to handle it. Still got COVID.

We need to take Vitamin D3 - not Vitamin D2! I take 6000 units of Vitamin D3 each day and have not gotten COVID despite being exposed in close contact at least three times that I know of. It does work.
