Two weeks ago, I was driving along the California/Nevada border and made a pitstop at the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest. The trees here are still alive and almost 5,000 years old. I wonder what they're thinking as they sprouted before Babylon and Egypt to see California now.

If Cali was an independent country, I'd give them about 5 years before they started rounding up cats and dogs to feed their people.
