Today, this sort of logic is all too familiar to us. The paranoid, racist and apocalyptic ramblings of Mr. Manson are the DNA of the reactionary alt-right. In the days leading up to Dylann Roof’s murder of nine black parishioners at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C., he talked to his friends about a “race war” and later used the same language in interviews with investigators. He was an enthusiastic reader of alt-right websites.

Well he was a proponent of man made global warming (where Al Gore got the idea), massive population reduction (forced if necessary), an environmental extremist, recreational drug legalization, abortion, rape, pedophilia, on and on and ....

I'll never forget the Geraldo interview with Manson, where Geraldo tried to argue with him.
All I could think about was why bother? That's like trying to argue with your refrigerator. It's typical of the Left to think that Manson could have a cogent philosophy and then try to blame that philosophy on the Right.

Hint: that ideology would not be anything "conservative". Not to mention back in Manson's day, the narratives he supported, such as racism, were being promoted by a certain party....
