Sorry your feelings were hurt when I pointed out the fact sheets from CDC.

How in any way, shape, or form did you come to the conclusion my feelings were hurt?

I told you I couldn't care less.

I just dislike stupid ideas and statements.

I understand when it comes to vaccines, the stupid runs strong in internet scientists.

Internet scientists and internet researchers think they are smarter and more knowledgeable in the field than actual scientists. I mean you read a couple of pages written by some moron and you think you are an expert. What could go wrong with that thinking...

But as I said before, it is still a free country.

And I want you on my side when bidenfrick tries to make thinking differently them him illegal.

And hell, how can I think the same as a demented old guy who doesn't know where he is?

You seem... emotional.

I just linked the CDC fact sheets. From the actual manufacturers.

I am sorry that upset you.

I was just wondering to myself - those ppl who don’t intend to get the Covid shot . . . What’s the rationale for avoiding it?
I don't ever get the flu shot. Why would I get a shot for a condition with a 99.7% survivability rate? Also, correct me if I'm wrong but aren't these "vaccines" not really vaccines? They don't keep you from getting COVID, they just make the symptoms less severe. Don't some people get COVID and have not symptoms in the first place?

You seem... ignorant.

And not a great judge of things right now.

Yep. And you think that is a gotcha?

What would you have a vaccine say that is 95 percent effective?

It will prevent infections or it may prevent infection. Because no vaccine is 100 percent effective.

I am sorry that upset you.

Dude, if you think whatever you wrote on this board would upset me, then you don't think much of me.

You know I have something called a life. So you do you.

I will leave you with a favorite quote attributed to mark twain I believe. I will paraphrase because I don't know exactly how he said. But you might find it helpful...

It is better for the idiot to keep his mouth closed and have people think him an idiot rather than open it and prove he is an idiot.

As an aside another quote I love is...

Clothes make the man. Naked people have little to no power in society.

Not that that has anything to do with anything, but love the quote.

Three deaths occurred in the placebo group (one
from intraabdominal perforation, one from cardiopulmonary arrest, and one from severe systemic inflammatory syndrome in a participant
with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and diffuse
bullous rash) and two in the vaccine group (one
from cardiopulmonary arrest and one by suicide).

There were more serious reactions to the placebo shot than the actual vaccine. One of the serious reactions was a suicide.

COVID 19 TOTAL 269 in placebo 19 in the mRNA 30 cases of severe covid in the placebo group. None in the vaccinated group

You can say that "oh covid is nothing" but it was a hell of a lot to those 30 people. Same thing with measles mumps and rubella. Its nothing for 99% of the people who get it. Its something for that 1%.

But you are scared of a shot. Which is ok. My three year old is too.

As always its your right to refuse. Its your right to hate the Donald Trump administration.

If I were over the age of 60- I’d be way more interested in getting the Covid shot or vaccine or whatever we want to call it. I don’t really think the Covid vaccine is any more or less dangerous than the flu shot- so I’m fine with taking it. I have seen no info of any major risks, aside from people who think Bill Gates is secretly trying to microchip them. I don’t trust the vaccine to not become a de facto tracking device by the Gvt tracking who gets it or doesn’t.

I think taking the vaccine should be voluntary. If it weirds you out, you shouldn’t have to take it.

I’m really more interested in knowing whether it makes Covid less contagious. My parents are in their 70s and I would go thru the hassle of getting the vaccine if it made me less contagious to them and other older people in my life.

I think asymptomatic spread is a myth, and that if masks worked Covid would be no longer a thing. I think you can only give presymtomatic spread in cases where you’re in close contact. So there’s no need to shut anyone down except unvaccinated old people. And there’s no reason to wear masks, but I do it to be polite. And BC Leftists who are triggered by my maskless face scare the frick out of me.

I get the flu shot and every yr - bc I have an autoimmune condition and my doc recommends it. I get it at my routine fall doctors visit. I’ve still gotten the flu with the flu shot and I felt like total shite for 2 wks. I have no way of knowing whether it minimized my symptoms or not- but I’ve never had any adverse health effects from the flu shot itself.

So . . . I’m just wondering if there’s some documented risk from the vaccine that I need to be aware of. There’s no fear of Covid strong enough to make me go stand up in a CVS with every weirdo in the world to get a Covid shot. When it becomes available from my doctor’s office and I can make an appointment to get it like a civilized human, I’d probably get it.

Facts are facts. The same goes with the accompanying fact sheet for the vaccine.

Unless you do not believe the science.

Sorry for your hurt feelings.
