You know… all of this could easily go away if Trump plainly said he will not consider Nikki for VP.

I wonder why he doesn’t.

Because that dumb idea probably doesn’t come up during their campaign meetings.

If he does this I will be disappointed and wish I had supported Vivek.

Here's my order

TRUMP
VIVEK

DESANTIS

RFKjr

That's of the declared candidates.

I thought all this through a month ago. I will support Trump, DeSantis or Vivek as the nominee if they don't have a neocon on the ticket. Otherwise I'm going independent.

And to the guy that claims there has been no major perception shift since 2015, you sir are full of shite.

You understand that the probability of a successful 3rd party campaign is probably 1 in 100, right? So the withdrawal of support for Trump by his base because of his VP choice would ensure Biden/Harris II. Let's not pretend you'd be making any other choice than Biden/Harris over Trump/Haley.

Isn't the burden on Trump to remain loyal to his base, not the other way around?

Yeah I’m having a very hard time finding any wisdom in that.

Question: exactly how much of a VP’s own personal positions and policies do y’all expect to be initiated by and as the Assistant President? Y’all think Haley would just nut up and start ordering the military to follow her commands and turn the military into what y’all seem to be so worried about? As well as any other frightening personal policies they may have had in another office?

I could have sworn I saw near unanimous agreement amongst the most vocal of us that the VP position is ministerial at best, and renders the person useless. This was in connection with the discussion of Desantis being Trump’s VP. That it was a dead end position due to lack of power.

Where we at on all that?

His daughter in law was asked about it

Don Jr was asked about it

MTG and Gaetz tweeted about it

Trump was asked about it

You’d think maybe they’d come out with a concise message on it to squash any idea of it if it isn’t true

He’s trolling Nikki. Not gonna happen.

Or maybe he really wants to be president and thinks Nikki as VP is his best shot at getting the blessing of the establishment.

If that’s the case, he won’t be fighting for us anymore. Just wants to go in and reset his legacy.

quote: Hmmmmm......lets ee Biden/Harris or......Trump/Haley Which one are you going to pick? Or will you take the the easy way out of this thread and say you will dip out of 2024 or write in someone? So yall say: "you will do whatever daddy Trump tells you to do, even if he picks Nikki" My response is "no I won't vote for him if he picks her" then you say "so you want Biden-Harris?" You guys spend 18 hours a day on here bashing Trump and his supporters, telling us why he's an awful candidate, telling us y'all arent going to vote for him, but now suddenly because we say we won't vote for him if he picks Nikki, y'all are concerned about Biden-Harris winning

I'll vote Trump/Haley and not think twice. Hell I voted for Romney and McCain. I just think its funny that Trump supporters haven't really thought this through.

Very good chance you are thinking you are voting MAGA and really you are voting for President Neocon in heels.

I know my conscience is clean voting DeSantis but you guys do what you want.

So he should have voted for Obama? Or vote third party?

If voting for Romney and McCain is a bridge too far then don't be offended when people choose not to vote for a moderate like Trump.
