This is good, but not quite “your an idiot” good.

The fact that people like you dismiss simple reasoning over in depth analysis for actions is what’s wrong with this. She had presence of mind to have her husband run and errand so that she could freely attack her children without any interference ( forethought). Once he left she brought them into a room and preceded to straggle them one by one while others looked on( lack of any humanity). She didn’t quit after watching the bulged eyes of the first but rather moved on to her next child. After watching the fear in that child eyes and life drained away she then pressed on to the third child who had witnessed her own mother kill her siblings and undoubtedly was terrified. Was the mother sick? Of course she was as would person be if they took their own life, which by the way the mother hadn’t done. Nobody is arguing that postpartum depression doesn’t exist but it isn’t a kill your 3 children and go to dinner card. The pain that this husband and the mental anguish he will feel for the rest of his life is real too, where is your outrage there?

Well, it's not sane to lose your shite over a piece of fried chicken so that you jump over the counter and try to harm the fryer but it happens on a daily basis. We have an accountability problem in this country and Clancy is just an extreme example.

Back to the issue at hand... Why do you think she waited until after she had killed her children to slit her wrist the "right way"? That looks like remorse to me which means she understood what she had done.

The disease is what the segment was about. It was not primarily about the application of the sanity defense to this illness. Anybody here who points out the truth about this illness is ridiculed.
