Plus, this moves plays into all the mass misinformation during a war. You want your adversary guessing on what is your enemies plan.
Iran thinking no threat of troops then thy can just wait out the air campaign. But if troops are a possibility it both forces you to plan a defense and if takes away the wait it out option
And finally having assets in theatre give the military more options if they see an opening.

Very true,ta. Those hardcore IRGC may be more inclined throw in the towel if they know that the Marines backed by A-10s are coming.

Two ARGs aren't doing shite except maybe capturing an island or two, where they will be constantly bombarded by the IRGC from 20 miles away on the mainland.
