Category: Rifle rounds you can buy at Walmart more powerful than a .223

According to NCTigah and a few other mouth breathers in his thread the .223/5.56 is the final evolution of the military's century long study to find the perfect killing machine.
While those of us with at best cursory ballistics knowledge know it's a compromise round in fact disliked by many frontline troops in Iraq and Afghanistan outside of urban warfare.
It is in fact one of if not the least powerful centerfire rifle rounds you could find on the shelf at your local Academy or Walmarks. To claim otherwise is histrionics, propaganda or ignorance. And this from someone who claims to be a medical doctor.

Any bullet can kill you last time I checked

I would much rather be hit with a 338 Lapua.

Maybe not fast enough though. A 308 is a quick kill. No opportunity of returned fire

The candy and chip isle at Walmart will kill more people than the bullets they will sell.

I don’t see the .338 becoming a primary round lol

Instead of body bags they would be screaming for body buckets.

Nice. The MSM should go after this because "the sugar" takes minorities in large numbers.

Sugar bullets, nice. Once shot the victim dies a slow death of diabetes

Ballistically speaking it is the weakest round ever used in a standard US battle rifle since the use of modern firearms.

According to NCTigah and a few other mouth breathers in his thread
According to NC Tigah gunshot wounds can differ in characteristics depending on the weapon. The AR-15 compared with a variety of other weapons being an example.
Your argument that "wounds from an AR 15 shot are no different than any other gunshot wound" is stupid.

You care to explain how they are different?
Outside of severity depending on the round, which is common sense.

You act like NCT is a'comin' fer yer gens. He ain't a'doin' it tho. NCT ain't got no innerest in yer gens.
I'm simply keeping it real, pointing out the abject stupidity of a claim that there is no difference between wounds inflicted by various guns.

Take the L, you lost all credibility when you posted the 22lr ballistics, no one was talking about a 22, it was clear you are clueless about centerfire rifle rounds.

Guns dont mean shite, I can shoot you with 4 different ARs chambered in 4 different rounds and the wounds will be different.
