I’m guessing you haven’t read through this thread. No one has “fallen” for anything. We are just pointing out that Cass has more details and meat to her case (if corroborated) than Ford. Doesn’t mean we believe either one.

The level of detail is very important when determining the guilt/innocence of a plausible accusation; HOWEVER, since a straight up lie has no limitation of truth, then the amount of details has no bounds since the fallibility of memory is not an issue, and only one's creative ability to lie would limit it.

2. The story came out (by a attention-seeking, loser lawyer), after Ford's claim, and seems to be a greater likelihood of fabrication after an initial claim.
3. Her story was ridiculously implausible, as it required mass drugging and gang rapes, which she knew about and continued to attend parties where it was happening, and decided to drink the punch she knew was drugged before she was allegedly "assaulted" by someone. So those alleged behaviors are far more implausible and far less likely to just come up 30 plus years later then what Ford alleged, regardless of the accused.
I do not believe Kav assaulted Ford, but even then, it's not clear that she straight up lied, whether because she misremembered the details of that night, mistook someone else for Kav, or as has happened before, it was just a straight up false memory that stemmed from her therapy session. It could very well be a lie, but it's not near as obvious as Swetnick's.
And I think it makes sense that people are less likely to think she's lying due to the lack of details and memory issues; however, I think they are wrong when they ignore those issues when determining the level of guilt from the few details she recalls.
