The focus should be on a complete overhaul of the tax structure in the state. And how the new tax structure will make us competitive in attracting businesses to the state.

Louisiana has one of the most negative voting bases in
the country.Does anybody even know what is a good or bad
canidate is.We haven`t heard any of these canidates speak
about their plan for La.How do we know if they are good or
bad.
The problem in our state is if you aren`t a member of the
good old boy club you dont get any kind of support from the
power backers.Thats why Louisiana is last in everything
thatb matters in this country.
This attitude that we dont have enough good canidates is
a bunch of crap.People won`t vote for the better person
if they dont have a name or is not connected.
We need to find out about every canidate and listen to what they believe and intend to do before we shoot them
down.

There's a reason LA continues to get left behind. It's too risky for big business to invest in.

You basically need to burn down the cities and start over.

I wouldn’t vote for Landry even if he was the only candidate We need to kick his kind to the curb.

I don’t know but highly doubt any of them to buck the LSA.

Sure, but that can't be done unless you get rid of all the tax credits and subsidies which isn't going to happen. LABI would melt.

Nelson supports it. Everyone else wants to be king of the hill. Nelson wants to nuke the hill and rebuild the systemic infrastructure to be able to build a small mountain. His youth is being mistaken for inexperience, when it really is energy and political will.

Only wish it could be a debate.

John Schroeder

Just went to his website to learn about what he considers the issues to be.

Left his website thinking that his issue is that he's not even really running for governor.

Schroeder is basically like "I'm a powerful politician and do a lot of wheeling and dealing in Louisiana's legislature, so its my turn"

LABI makes my skin crawl for some reason. Bad, insincere car salesman vibes. They remind me of Bobby Jindal.

Couldn’t disagree more. LABI does an excellent job keeping LA competitive in Biz & industry.

Without them, your W2 employee self would make a lot less.

Yes, Louisiana is a regular utopia. I especially love how they would throw a fit if anyone tried to eliminate state income taxes because of all the bullshite tax credits that are in place right now picking winners and losers.

Louisiana has below average salaries in spite of being one of, if not the most natural resource rich states per capita.

If you are results oriented, you are not grading the current movers and shakers very high. If you're a fool that falls for marketing and believes the role of government is picking winners and losers and being a banana republic then yes, they are doing great.
