Instead of Outer Limits type tech we should be worrying about Black Mirror tech.
The best example is the episode "Be Right Back", where Hayley Atwell's pregnant character is widowed when her husband is killed in a car crash. She signs up for a program that will generate a robotic duplicate of her husband using his social media history to formulate his personality and place it in a new body.
She ends up basically enslaving the copy because it obeys her unquestioningly instead of disagreeing in ways the real husband would have.

The body builder guy is a friggin whacko. He married his doll then divorced her for a new doll. The new doll has the body of a chicken and the head of a woman.

You’d have to be not of a sound mind to fall in love with a robot.

I'd rather be married to a Robot than a 700 pound woman who bathes once a year (see My 600 Pound Life...and they are married).

Women are 3 times more likely to lose their jobs to "Robots".

I watched that video and still have no idea what “Sarah” was. It says a robot but the video is clearly some augmented reality program with the guy wearing AR hardware. More like an immersive sims game. They said the robot cleaned the house, prepared food, etc. What sort of robot is advanced enough to do those things? As well as provide personal companionship? I know we are closer to this than we ever have been but I just don’t think we are there in terms of technology.
A quick google search also didn’t find any reference to this experiment. I’m wondering if it is real.

This guy "Shakaama" has a whole series on this subject. If you are really interested.
He is genius level mind and what he presents may be shocking to believe.
But...
I will let this thread go, but if ya'll want to continue, have at it.

Of course. Guys fall in love with cars all the time.

Well hell yeah, we all could. If the robot was indistinguishable from a human (including genetically cultured tissue), how would anyone know?
Dudes think Hooters girls and strippers are in love with them all the time. Something more intelligent than those skanks could fool even more people.

Even if I could, it wouldn't last long.
