Might want to ask yourself why that was. It wasn't for good reasons. Lamenting for the days of global economic demand destruction is peak stupidity
Went over your head too, stupid

A lot of indie oil companies went bust in 2020. Several refineries were never reopened.

It was that price 6 months ago. But i would rather pay higher prices than to have a nuclear Iran

It briefly dropped to 1.15 where I live.

Yes, because we were in a recession with low demand. That’s how it works.

And that's without a war with Iran, just a bunch of restrictive policies due to the fool's "climate change" notions.

Calm down George Jetson. Maybe wait for more than 2% of the population to follow suit before you start talking about people living in the past?

Can you believe gas was 4.84 gallon in June 2022
And was 1.66 a gallon in April 2020 before the White house forced the price up?
There is no gulf war.

it never got below $2.12 in little rock. so no i can't believe that. here's what i do know at the that price of gas it cost me $22 to fill up my car and yesterday it cost $32 and $10 a week has no impact on me if it does on you then you have a "you" problem and not a "we" problem.

Are you suggesting that covid infected US refineries, oil rigs, development permits and "climate change" regulations?

The effects, especially the global government shutdown mandates, certainly caused demand for oil and fuel to plummet, which in turn caused the prices to plummet. The S&P also tumbled in March 2020 due to the combination of shutdowns and panic.

Have you ridden in one? I consider it fully autonomous now, it's just the feds have not signed off on it. You just can't sleep or play on your phone. I am constantly looking out the window just like I would on a flight. The only thing I ever have to do is make sure it turns right when leaving parking lots that have right turn only.

Wait until that battery needs to be replaced and your bill outpaces the value of your car.
