Does that factor in the decrease in government workers?

Because I voted for that.

We’ve lost more 100k+ more jobs in manufacturing than in government employment. Did you vote for that?

No? I never did. We barely buy them, no one in the house really eats them.

As of May 4, 2026, the latest, most significant Labor Department data is the weekly unemployment claims reported on April 30, which fell to 189,000, the lowest in over 50 years.

Apparently they found other work.

EV supply chain adjustments...IE...government mandates/contracts. I did vote for that to go away.

Are you retarded? All of the world class chemical manufacturing since 2010 has been built in the USA.

There are chip manufacturing plants which were built near Dallas and some are being built near Houston right now. New Steel production has been built.

Try harder.

11,000 boomers per day reach retirement age of 65. So yeah...they leave the market.

The rest are to lazy or lack any real marketable skill to even try to work. Subsidized by government handouts.

So you want to talk about tariffs being a “disaster”…….

Except you want to talk about job growth…..until you’re provided facts

And in the end you just want to bitch and engage in loser talk because that’s what you are…. A loser.

Again you’re right. That good illegal alien and government job growth you were getting under Biden coupled with 5-9% inflation was way better

Newsome will provide you that option to vote for again in a couple years. Maybe even throw in some homelessness and a debacle train or two.

And we’ll still have to import both in enormous quantities.

We don’t have the workforce to make ourselves self-sufficient.

The tariffs have slowed our business, but I wouldn’t say it’s a disaster. With that said I would like to see a concrete plan with what we are going to do with the money. If we were going to use it to pay down the natl. debt I would be all for it, but if it’s just going to be extra money for congress to squander than no thanks.

The amount we’ve collected in tariffs is basically a rounding error on the interest for the national debt.

A few billion “collected” is completely meaningless.

We’re running a $2T deficit. Nothing that starts with a ‘b’ is helpful.
