There are people on this site who made the same exact argument for Palestinians.

All Palestinians are legitimate targets because they voted 53% in favor of a Hamas government.

Read the whole letter. Ultimately Bin Laden gets around to what he really wants. It is being portrayed that it is because of US interference and support of Israel. There is some truth in that. But ultimately even though he and the left portray that it is not about Western culture Bin Laden eventually gets around to doing away with what he believes to be the morally bankrupt western culture. Specifically mentioning:

-wanting Islam in every home
-no tolerance of homosexuality
-forbidding interest payments
-no intoxicants
-no “fornification” (I guess arse raping little boys is ok)
-Sharia law

This is not a complete list. While I am not an expert on the Palestine/Israel conflict, I mean it did arise because of the efforts to exterminate Jewish people.

So while the West has without question has colonized, interfered and imposed their might, make no mistake that Bin Laden and the Muslim extremists want to impose their very harsh beliefs on the world. They just haven’t been successful and heaven help the world if they ever are.

It is not about wanting to simply control their own destiny without western influence as all the Tik Tok supporters would like everyone to believe.
