If it's just him and a Dem on the ballot, I'm skipping that vote. frick Cassidy.

Cassidy has been dead man walking for years. Paxton is an adulterer and should probably be in jail right now. He will be SO much harder to get over the finish line, costing the Republican machine more money that could be spent elsewhere. Say what you want about Cornyn, but he’s a reliable yes vote and is well liked by the independents, which you will need to win the seat. Anyone hoping for Paxton is voting with their heart and not their eyes.
Paxton winning is a toss up. Cornyn wins going away.

I think the greater danger is Cornyn winning the primary. A lot of Republicans will not vote for Cornyn and opt to stay home if he is the nominee.
Paxton has won three straight statewide elections, against GOPe Bush royalty, against targeted lawfare, against nationally funded opposition.
The GOPe is in its death gasps. MAGA Republicans will not vote for Cornyn. Period.

If Paxton is the GOP nominee, Crockett may win. The GOP may be imploding in Texas.

If the crybabies on here want change, remove the people that have been there 24 years.
You guys are fricking crazy if you keep voting for that.

I am hoping that happens and both of those rhinos loose during. I don’t know much about Cornyn because he is not my representative in Louisiana. Cassidy is mine and I am praying that he looses in the primary. He’s done enough damage while he’s been in DC.

If you are a Republican and you stay home instead voting for Cornyn, you not only get what you deserve, you’re part of the problem. There are no pure candidates. And the people who are looking for candidates to pass some MAGA purity contest are too stupid to see how that has failed time and time again. To win elections, you have to get people in the middle to vote for you. If ONLY Republicans voted for Republican candidates, the Republican Party would never win a statewide election ever again. And btw my purity/christian baws . Paxton committed a crime. When he was going to be expelled from office, his wife begged her fellow state senate colleagues to vote to dismiss the charges, not knowing he was cheating on her with a 20 something. After he secured his acquittal he left her. Thats the “man” I’d want representing me.
