..as a "migrant", if they have a criminal record?

All of the standing used in obstruction, like the judge is using, come from the word classifying those prisoners as "migrants"

So how do we get to where they aren't migrants? Seems like common sense, but if your a felon, being classified as a migrant should be impossible.

No it is illegal to pass a lawyer because it could result in injury. I do however disagree with that being illegal.

I googled legal definition of migrant.

Google says there is no agreed upon definition of migrant.

Step One is for the plaintiffs, defendants and courts use terms that have universal legal definition, I would think.

Refugee has a legal definition. So does Asylum Seeker. Generally speaking, a migrant is different than an immigrant... we need a Legal Definition of 'migrant'. Or, they need to get back to calling a spade a spade and use Illegal Alien.

Is "migrant" by itself even a legal status under US law? Usually it is tacked on when describing someone as a LPR or TPS. The term "migrant" is a definition that basically just describes a person as being from somewhere else.

They are illegals, not migrants. They were migrants on the way here, once they crossed the border illegally, they are now illegals.

By itself, just 'migrant'? I'm not sure, but probably not seeing as how the term 'migrant' has no legal definition.

The wording used by the aclu to get the injunction, utilized the word of putting the migrants in danger.
