On the plus side this will get Republicans and moderates out to the polls in November and this could greatly backfire on them.

Very true. Trump won't win California but it will help the other Republican races. Asians in particular really hate this ballot measure because it penalizes them for being successful and makes it harder for their children to be admitted to the California universities.

The correct one. As evidenced by the OP.

You’re being emotional bud.

The civil rights movement didn’t just end segregation, it produced forced integration, which likely sparked a chain of events that have us where we are today.

You can criticize the civil rights movement without being evil.

Yeah, I’m sure they were popular at local cross burnings.

Why don't you just tell us what their opinion of it was?

The measure, which “would reintroduce racial preferences for who gets a state job or contract, or who is admitted to a state university,” as The Wall Street Journal editorial board puts it, will be on Californians’ ballots come November. If it passes, the state’s 24-year old ban on affirmative action will be reversed.

Only in a liberal mind does this make sense

What happens if the "White Nationalists" get power and are allowed to discriminate against the very people they are trying to discriminate for? These people do not see past the tip of their nose.

Says the segregationist. Seems like you’d be a fan of this law.

No, I’m saying they’re every bit as vile as white supremacists.

The only solution for made up systemic racism is actual systemic racism.

It's a win-win for them. They can remove discrimination from the law so that they can discriminate against whites and then if a white-owned business discriminates against anyone else, they can be destroyed in another way, like through a riot.

treat the minorities there as your grandparents did

My grandparents on my dad's side died very early in my life. My grandparents on my mother's side were missionaries who traveled to Honduras and Zimbabwe every single year of my existence (and for years before) until they died when I was 18. They did this from their own pocket. They would bring back a single person from each country every year to live with them for a year until they went back. My grandparents were such assholes.
