No because either way they’re paying. The schools work for the people and they don’t need to forget it. All the more reason to support school vouchers. Privatize the school business.

Most teachers aren't much more than a babysitter, so this makes sense.

These are not TEACHERS.
These are SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS.
In most districts these are members who are elected to the school board. They are not required to be teachers, administrators, or anything more than a citizen that lives in that district. So, much like every other useless politician, they don't know what they're talking about, don't actually speak for the people they "represent", and try to run from their responsibilities and accountability.
Please stop disparaging teachers. The vast majority are busting their asses teaching virtually, in person, or a combination of both. The workload is doubled and the pay is the same, since you all seem to know everything. As with any profession, there are bad apples, but 99% of teachers are extremely hard working and love their students more than yall will know. Some provide more love and stability for kids than the homes they are coming from. Trust me when I say, teachers want to be back full time with their students.
These are not TEACHERS.

Your title is accurate. Those who read it obviously didn't comprehend that a school board member does not equal a teacher. The people here love to shite on teachers rather than Teacher's Unions and School Boards who are the deserving targets of their insults. Teachers have very little power or control over ANY decisions made for them.

Which is funny because private schools are back in person and marching forward and have been since August. Our kids have been mask free with ZERO outbreaks across the school. Despite 100% success this week they had to go back to mask wear full time due to updated CDC guidelines.
