Here’s what I’ll say about transgenderism: I think with children 20 years from now the average person will look at what we’ve done with kids and transgenderism the same way we look at the lobotomy now. I am probably more sympathetic than you when it comes to say a 22 year old that still thinks he/she is trapped in the wrong body, but I’m very protective of the kids. I’m libertarian probably to a fault here, but kids shouldn’t be allowed to transition before 18.
