Imagine being a person in the USA, arguing that someone has any level of difficulty getting an ID/Passport. The many different forms of free money for leeches in this society makes that argument unrealistic at best.

I renewed mine online in March for a trip to Italy in July. Took about 10 business days. Only issue was taking a selfie. Took a few diff pics for acceptance.

Do you really need a passport if you don't even have the $165.00 cost of a passport? The use of phone from home is free and convenient.
For a first-time applicant, a U.S. Passport Book costs $165 total ($130 application fee + $35 execution fee).
