Quick tip.... before you make an arse out of yourself again.. like so many times in the past... ask someone who knows first.
They work contract labor when they do work. There is no Social Security withholding on contract labor pay. The only way they would pay is to file a return, claim the income, and pay self employment tax. Guess what... they aren’t filing returns without a social or filing a 1040NR.
Now get on the phone and ask local CPAs how many 1040 NRs they have filled out this tax year.
