Yet.. the gas station by my house just went up $0.70 cents overnight. Makes no sense to me

How and why? I have been told that we don't purchase gas anymore from the ME. I have been told that we are producing the most oil in history.. and now we have Venuseula oil in our inventory and the price still goes up 70 cents over night?
