Souds a lot like St. George. The burbs have had enough of blue city 'minority' mayors stealing their tax money and not getting the police protection that was promised.

Atlanta should be put on lockdown, the 285 corridor should be built into a wall, and the city written off.

The right of self determination of peoples is in the U.N. Charter which is officially recognized by the government of the United States.
If secession is good for Lithuania, Slovenia, Kosovo, and the U.K. (Brexit) then it should be good for Buckhead.

St George, is not apart of a city.
It is an unincorporated area that voted to incorporate.
If I am correct Buckhead is apart of the City limits of Atlanta.
This one would be alot harder to get unicorporated from Atlanta.
Then become incorporated as it own city.

Except Buckhead is within the city limits of Atlanta. They literally want to secede from the city. St. George wants to create a new city from an unincorporated area of the parish.

Atlanta crooks never going to allow those sweet tax dollars to disappear. Same people fight Milton County efforts with vigor. Strip away north Fulton and Buckhead from ATL? You are left with homeless, poor, thugs and Birkenstock crowd.

I don't blame that at all. I believe Buckhead accounts for more than 25% of the tax base in ATL. I wish them success.

Read about this before. Pretty sure I remember they tend to vote like 65% pedocrat so frick them they got what they voted for.
