So was terrified for her and her families safety yet stayed in the rental anyway.
Seems like she’s a freeloader and didn’t want to pay.
Sad prog!

Like leaving that last bite on the plate then complaining to the manager about how awful the food was.
Remember your name CrazyCrue!
No Greatness Comes Without Risk: Carycruzs Miriam Bueno

With crafting such a name, Cary’s family set the tone for what she would experience and how she would use her gifts in this world. She would need compassion and love for others; she would need to be bold and courageous like Miriam; and she would need to take up the cross during times of darkness and uncertainty. Or as Cary would sum up in a less flowery, but powerful way: “No greatness comes without risk.”

But she stayed there any way? If she truly felt afraid, wouldn’t she not have even gone inside?

Of course, the couple didn’t remain at the insidious inn.
“We left and @Airbnb says they cant do anything. Prime example how white companies make a BLM statement, but when (a) Black person tells them they didn’t feel safe, they do nothing.”

quote:Well, she did not claim they HAD any “KKK symbols.”
KKK symbols in Maine, calling bullshite. What are "KKK symbols" exactly?
quote:She just said that KKK symbols are number one scary, in the context of Trump signs being number four.
Unfortunately, in addition to Trump signs, she didn’t detail the “other” white nationalist images.
(Surprised she did not describe Trump signs as number two). That would have been humorous.

To be clear, this woman is soft as Hell, and she does not deserve a refund.
Nonetheless, it would behoove posters to actually read the article that they are criticizing.

I would love to see pictures of these KKK symbols and flags.

Those signs were probably scared of her getting hungry and trying to eat them.
Posted on 9/26/20 at 7:45 am to Frank Black
Maine huh? Maybe it was just the lack of black people that freaked them out.

You guys know I’m MAGA AF but honestly that’s pretty trashy to be an AirBNB host and have political signs in your yard.
After reading the article it isn't clear where the signs were. It sounds like the signs were in the neighbodhood and may not have been in the yard where they stated.

Yea maybe I’m totally obtuse to it but I feel like I’m seeing more and more comments about being scared to plan road trips cause of sundown towns.... and very suddenly. I get that you might bump into a schmuck that makes a comment at a gas station but it seems like an old term trended in Twitter and now lots of people scared for nearly no reason. Which is a shame.

You may be right. But the timeline of this outbreak of weak minded people is in line with the recent participation trophy craze.

This was an absurdist piece by Dana Carvey about 25 years ago covering this woman’s supposed experience.

and this person is teaching tomorrow's leaders?
Not sure I'd be quite comfortable staying at a house with a Biden sign, Instead of enjoying the attractions at our vacation spot, I'd be putting a lid on it at 9:AM.

Well, wtf were the "other white nationalist symbols"? If you're not gonna name them, don't fricking say it. I'm so fricking sick of any white person (Trump included) being lumped in with skinheads. Trump is not a white nationalist. His signs are not racist.
I'm so fricking sick of this made up bullshite. I understand there are ra ist groups and people out there. I really do get it. But all this CRT/anti-racism shite is just that: total, utter, shite.
