I grew up and am back living in one of the the most conservative parts of Canada - Southern Saskatchewan. We are Ag/Oil/Potash. Dating back to around 2007-2010 we imported a large number of primarily Indian immigrants to help with Service Industry Jobs as things boomed. Most were issued “Temporary Foreign Worker” permits that became permanent and led to swaths of “relatives” latching on. Our trucking Industry is dominated by “new Canadians” (google Humboldt Broncos bus crash). I would say in Saskatchewan that the vast majority of these immigrants came here appropriately, through legal channels and have met all the criteria for merit based immigration. Some are total scabs punted to us by a foreign government unloading their trash.

In our Urban areas (which i avoid) - Toronto/Calgary/Montreal the … color of the cities has certainly changed. In Toronto i think the Shikh population is massive. Much like America, the white population is reproducing at a barely sustainable rate and our government is seeking replacement instead of encouraging constituent well being.

I believe we now have higher registration rates in youth Soccer (like 5:1) and Basketball than we do in Hockey, which is a mind boggling statistic to think about.

So i know i went on a bit here;

But yea we are fundamentally changing in terms of color, religion and interest demographics and our cities aren not recognizable. However, with our merit based immigration, a large majority of “new canadians” do deserve to be here and are more productive then, our say, University class young generation. Government and school just turned their backs on 2 generations of Canadians by telling them “learn to code” and replaced the missing block of the workforce with imported labour.
