I get what you're saying, but let's be honest - The Constitution does not give the Federal government the authority to rule on abortion, therefore that authority rests with the States and the People. The Constitution does not grant any rights whatsoever to the people, it only grants certain specific, enumerated rights to the Federal government. So, it's correct in chastising liberals for believing that the Constitution gives liberals any personal liberties. The 2nd Amendment, along with the others in the Bill of Rights was included as clarification to set the tone that the document provided for a limited Federal government that was not all powerful and derived its authority from the People and the States. (See Amendments 9 and 10 to really get the crux of it.)
The bottom line of the meme is 100% on target though.

"The Constitution does not grant any rights whatsoever to the people . . . "
WTF?
The Bill of Rights amendments add to the Constitution specific guarantees of personal freedoms and rights, clear limitations on the government's power in judicial and other proceedings, and explicit declarations that all powers not specifically granted to the federal government by the Constitution are reserved to the states or the people.

I don't know why she hides from the press. They will only serve up softballs and ask her leading OMB questions.

That is what is so amazing about lawyers. 10 lawyers have 10 different options on what anything means even if it written down. Just their way of jacking up the bill

The Bill of Rights does not grant any rights to the People. It simply states certain very specific rights that already belonged to the People and gave Congress a very clear warning that these rights, in particular, had not been ceded to the Federal government and were not to be trifled with. The 9th and 10th Amendments further clarified that the Constitution was a limit to Federal power and gave the final word on the issue.

Riddle me this who demanded the Bill of Rights before THEY voted on the Constitution? Government exists by the consent of the Governed.
