I Don't know of any settings that would be blocking it but then I am no computer guru either.
Off and on, Truth Social blocks VPN's. Sometimes it blocks me, but if I temporarily turn off my VPN I'm unblocked.

I can't see images that come from certain sites I get memes from if I'm at work because my work has flagged them, probably for being conservative sites. But, when I'm at home or on my phone, I can see them just fine.
I am a retiree at home on my own personal workstation using Brave Browser.

Auburn 1968 provided a clue and it now is working properly, at least temporarily.
BINGO!!
I use AVG antivirus and I opened the VPN and switched it off and then the images came thru. After turning the VPN back on they are still coming through.
