He didn’t destroy Obamacare. Did he even decimate it?

You could've just told us that you didn't understand how the Individual Mandate & relevant IRS penalties worked.

I can't imagine so, although I was behind a Jeep in ATL traffic once with the license plate "LEWDAWG" and he said it wasn't him, either.

How are there 44 year old millennials?
Generationalists disagree on even things like the start/end of the Baby Boom. The end of Gen-X is very contentious. But, I will say that, certainly 1982 is a Millennial cohort (as opposed to Gen-X), even if you consider them on the cusp and they all turn 40 this year.
The Millennial generation is entering middle age. :letthatsinkin:

I'd always read that the end of the Bicentennial in 1976 was pretty definitive, but millennials believe they invented everything, sooo...

Now, that would be an outlier for early break. I mean, if the Boom was ~1946 to ~1964 (18 years), then a 1976 would set Gen-X at only about 12 years. 1982 would be a fairly consistent break point - kids born that year turned 18 in 2000 and that milestone and/or 9/11 are considered the "events" of that generation, just as Reagan/80s/MTV are for Gen-X.
There are always grey areas at generational borders.
(ETA: A soft consensus of U.S. Gen X is born between 1965 and 1980 - that is my basic rule of thumb, as well, although I subscribe to a somewhat broader 1964 to 1982 as an "expanded" Gen X).

I recall it being a hot-button topic when I was in my Intro to Psych class in 1994.
