I love when the Mark Twain cosplayer acts like a real conservative. Yet, he voted for every budget that included hundreds of billions for NGOs, HUD, HHS, etc.

Grok says:
quote:
The suicide rate (meaning completed suicides) among transgender people is not precisely tracked in most countries due to limitations in official death records (gender identity is often not recorded or is recorded as the sex assigned at birth). However, available research consistently shows elevated risk compared to the general population.Studies (including long-term cohort data) indicate transgender individuals experience completed suicide rates several times higher than cisgender people—estimates from older key studies suggest risks up to 19–20 times higher in some contexts, though exact modern population-level rates remain hard to pinpoint due to data gaps.
Far more data exists on suicidal ideation (thoughts of suicide) and suicide attempts, which are dramatically higher in transgender populations. These are strong predictors of future risk and are the focus of most current research.
